I teach and contribute to the following modules in the Department:
  • ‘Dante’, one of the department’s ‘World Literature’ modules
  • ‘A World of Literature I: Classics and Cultural Translation’, a first-year, team-taught module introducing students to a range of foundational texts, such as Homer’s Odyssey and Ovid’s Metamorphoses, and their vibrant afterlife in subsequent literature
  • an M.A. module called ‘Reading Dante’s Comedy: Text and Context’.

I also teach a third-year Advanced Option Module ‘The Life and Afterlife of Boccaccio’s Decameron’, and I contribute to a number of Topic Modules (for example ‘Myth’), which run in the Summer Term.
